Raben Group as the sole shareholder of Fenthol & Sandtmann

On the 5^th of November 2019 Raben Group signed a purchase agreement with Family Ehrig to take over 50% of their shares in Fenthol & Sandtmann, including FKL & Kraftverkehr Ehrig. By this transaction Raben will become the sole shareholder of the German company. The transaction will be finalized after the approval of the antitrust authorities.

In recent years Raben Group has been dynamically investing on the German market, consistently implementing its long-term strategy of developing the own independent transport network. Owing to the agreement with Fenthol & Sandtmann, the Group can meet customers’ expectations more effectively by offering efficient transport network based on 34 branches in Germany. The company is focused on implementation of the latest IT solutions in the logistics sector, thanks to which it creates new development perspectives not only for itself, but above all for its customers.

After this agreement, Raben Group will take over all locations of Fenthol & Sandtmann i.e. Hamburg, Erlensee, Leipzig and Dresden as well as 460 employees.

Fenthol & Sandtmann, together with its subsidiaries i.e. FKL Kontraktlogistik and Kraftverkehr Ehrig, blends traditions of the trade with the modern 21^st century logistics. The roots of the company’s history date back around 190 years, which makes it one genuine logistics experts. In 2011 Raben Group has taken over 50% of shares in Fenthol & Sandtmann. The company provides road, sea and air transport services as well as contract logistics, with the yearly turnover amounting to 130 million Euro.
