Raben Ukraine held local football championship-2019

On September 28, 2019, the local Raben Ukraine football championship among the teams of regional units took place. Four teams were competing for the participation in the prestigious Raben Group Cup, which will be held in April 2020 in Poland.

“We’re promoting an active lifestyle. Every year we organize a range of social events not only for employees, but also for their families, as well as for cooperating drivers. The football championship among regional units of Raben Ukraine became one of the brightest events in 2019. The match was intense and interesting. The football fans warmly supported their teams.  Both football players and spectators received many positive emotions.

We are looking forward to Raben Group football championship among the teams, which have won in their countries. These are 24 teams from 12 countries. We will definitely go to Poland to support our players”, – comments Inna Ocheretna, General Director, Raben Ukraine.

The championship was a tense standoff. There were many challenges and, consequently, emotions.  In the long run, the D79 team from Lviv regional unit won. The list of other prizewinners looks as follows:

2^nd place – CL team (Kyiv)

3^rd place – Dnipriany team (Dnipro)

4^th place – Forman team (Kyiv)

CL team player Anatoly Borovyk became the best goalkeeper.  The title of the best forward was given to Andriy Khomik, a player from D79 team, and Yegor Smetanko, a player of Dnipriany team, was named as the best striker.

Audience Choice Award went to Oleg Gavirko, a young football fan — a cossack with a drum.
