Raben Ukraine team joined the 28th “Run under chestnuts”

Everyone, regardless of the time and place of participation, were able to join the charity run. By downloading mobile application our colleagues from different corners of the country or Kyiv districts were out for a run, joining their relatives. Our athletes, the youngest of which was 8 years old kid, overcame a distance of 5 km, ran along the favorite places and streets of the native city.

"We are grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to join most large-scale sports and charity project in Ukraine once again. And this year we also run on the streets of our own cities. So, our colleagues run through also the streets of Lviv, Kharkiv, Rivne, Dnipro and other, setting a great example,” – comments Inna Ocheretna, CEO of Raben Ukraine.

According to a many-year tradition, all the funds collected during the “run” will go to save the little patients of Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Thanks to the participants of the “Run under chestnuts” since 2002 the important and expensive equipment and consumables for more than $640.000 were bought for the Cardiology Center. During that time, more than 20,000 children have been saved at the Heart Center.

This year, the funds raised will be used to purchase an A-magnetic machine, which makes it possible to safely examine critically ill children under MRI conditions. It allows to monitor important indicators of a child's vitality during the medical testing.

Today's event is a great opportunity to get a huge wave of positivity and save a little life. “Run under chestnuts” has become a real tradition in the capital, which brings kindness, empathy, humanity, the ability to enjoy every day and help others. To help save little hearts." – said Iryna Kuznetsova, the initiator and organizer of the Run, President of the Charitable Foundation of the same name.

10 108 philanthropists took part in the event. According to the results of the “run”, more than UAH 1 350 000 were collected and given the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

It offers a full range of logistic services for contract logistics, international and domestic transportation as well as sea and air freight services. The company has about 500 employees. It also has about 70 000m² of warehouse space (including regions) and about 600 vehicles at own disposal.

“Run under chestnuts” – the most popular sports and charity project in Ukraine. It has been held annually since 1993, on Kyiv Day (last Sunday in May). The funds raised within the project are used to purchase the necessary equipment and consumables for the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
