Raben Group makes another acquisition on the German market

Raben Group is planning to take over Scheffler Spedition. The transaction is awaiting the final approval of antitrust authorities.
Established almost 150 years ago, Scheffler has a long tradition on the German market. In 1964 it was acquired by a company owned by the Petzold family. In 2015 Scheffler employed over 60 people. It is located in Langenhagen. The annual turnover of the company is around 18 million euros. Its core business includes transport and logistics services with a focus on international transport.Services provided by our companies complement one another and the competencies and experiences of Scheffler employees will be a priceless support for Raben Group operations in this region. Thanks to the organic growth and acquisitions, the company now has over 2,500 employees.
